VP Grievances

The Vice President of Grievances shall be responsible for the timely filing of all grievances and act as the Professional Rights and Responsibilities Chairman at all Levels (1-4) of Hearings

The Vice President of Negotiations shall be responsible for the Association’s Negotiation Committee.

Secretary

The Secretary shall keep a full and accurate record of all business transacted by the Association and by the Executive Board; shall be responsible to call the roll of Officers; shall submit an oral report at the annual meeting; shall keep the Associations official membership roll. In addition, the Secretary shall conduct all the correspondence of the Association and preserve its documents and make the minutes and records available to members upon request.

Treasurer

The Treasurer shall collect membership dues and shall be custodian of the funds of the Association. He or She will have custody of all funds belonging to the Association and deposit them in the name of the Diman Teachers Association Inc. in any appropriate financial institution legally authorized to do banking and/or investment business in Massachusetts. He or she shall keep an accurate record of all receipts and disbursements and shall pay the bills after they have been approved by the President and Executive Board, and shall submit at the annual meeting a written report consisting of receipts, disbursements and the general financial condition of the Association.
